This is my first post on infopop, but I've scavenged through the boards several times when searching for odd biodiesel facts.

A growing renewable energy company in Tustin, CA is currently seeking a Biofuel Process Technician/Engineer to join the engineering team and support technical management in a variety of projects. The position is a regular full-time paid position with health benefits after 1 month and primary compensation in the form of profit sharing.
The Biofuel Process Engineer is responsible for managing various business and process engineering activities. Duties include aiding in process development/optimization, performing product quality tests to ensure biofuel product meets ASTM specifications and assisting management in other areas of need. Projects require a cost justification, project plans and timely focused project execution resulting in measurable, sustained business improvements. Experience with repairing and configuring biodiesel processing equipment is a plus. In addition to training in chemical engineering, the ideal candidate must possess strong technical writing skills, organizational aptitude, and be self-motivated.
Experience of 1 to 5 years with biofuels or bulk chemical production related projects is preferred. Experience with Aspen or Pro II is a plus. The ideal candidate must possess strong entrepreneurial skills, solid knowledge of basic engineering fundamentals, be self-motivated and able to drive projects to completion on an aggressive schedule.
