Ok I found a 30 gallon water pressure tank for making a vacuum collection unit. My question is how do get to the bladder? There is a metal plate with holes in the way, I can't get past this to the bladder. Any suggestions?

There is probably an easier way but this is what I did. First I turned the tank on its side with the little valve on the end in the up position. I then took a torch and cut a small hole in the sides of the tank where it is attached to the internal baffles, and also where it is attached to the bladder. I then cut some breather holes in the baffles at the "top" and when I got tho the bladder it just burned. (imagine that). Then I braised over the holes in only the exterior of the tank that I had to create just to access the baffles. Made them airtight. Then rolled the tank over 180 degrees and repeated the process in the opposite side which is going to be the actual bottom since it will be used laying on its side. But on this side, I made the holes in the baffles as large as possible since they will be flowing oil instead of water. Yes there are holes already in the baffles but they are in the middle, and when the tank is used laying on its side, there will not be enough airflow to fill the tank over half. I also had tried to poke several holes in the bladder using a sharp rod poked thru the large hole in the old bottom of the tank. This didnt work too well but burning it with the torch accomplished the same thing. I then capped off the large hole and went to the other end. In the other end, the one with the little valve, and on the opposite edge I braised in a large (1-1/4") black pipe coupling which would be plumbed in later with a valve and fittings after the thing cooled. Final product is the pressure tank layed down on its side with the big hole in the center of one end capped, and the little valve on the top of the other end with the coupling on the bottom. Like I said, there is probably an easier way but I have the tools and ability and it works extremely well for me.
