Yes. I've done exactly what you're trying to do:
http://www.utahbiodieselsupply.com/photos/processors/100gallon01/index.htm So many people have asked about it that I now even have a sketch of the plans that can be used to put this monster together. http://www.utahbiodieselsupply.com/photos/processors/10...1/100gallonplans.pdf More information is available on it here: http://www.utahbiodieselsupply.com/photogalleries.php#100gallon01 -Graydon

Graydon,
I have seen and printed out your plans, but as I am really just starting out, I am wondering if you have any more specific instructions on the assembly and, perhaps more importantly, the operation of this beauty? Additionally, do you have a parts list available for this set-up? In the I-know-these-issues-might-be-addressed-elsewhere-but-I-cant-find-them category, I have some additional concerns about the Appleseed processors: 1. Is it safe to mix the methoxide with the (not specificed) indicated pump? Is there a flammability issue here? Does the methoxide eventually destroy the pump? 2. What is shape of the inside of typical hot water heaters? Is it possible to drain the tank completely? Is there a risk of cross-contamination between batches? Thanks, Kevin |
