I bought the system off a friend. I am setting up the hoses. In the diagram i see the a hose to the wash tank from the main plumbing and aswell a hose that says drain / fill ( in writting for this hose it has coupling for pumping finished fuel from wash tank (connect drain tubes through filter))...i dont understandf where to on the wash tank? please help...thanks

The Appleseed design has undergone lots and lots of changes since it first started , so it is hard to say what you are looking at . The drain hose is usually just a hose that allows you to drain the glycerol after settling , and some people use it to fill as well . The hose to the wash tank should probably connect at the top of the wash tank somewhere , but it could go to the bottom if a person wanted it setup that way . I only know of one person who set up thier wash tanks to fill from the bottom though , and it was an unusual setup . Your best option might be to go to www.biodieselcommunity.org and look in the apple orchard section there to see if any of the systems there are the same as the one you are setting up . If not you can take a few pics and we can try to help you get it right .
