Found another one...
Green Eagle Biodiesel

http://greeneagleenergy.homestead.com/index.html

OK, this guy wins the "Cheesy Website Award!"
Turn your speakers down or else you'll be treated to a rendition of Willie Nielsen's "On The Road Again" in cheesy computer style music (It's a MIDI).

How the crap do they think a 1" Clear Water Pump is ever going to properly turn over 500 gallons is beyond me.

Get this, these morons even have "2 Built in 1500 watt heater in each 500 gallon tank for processing - drying"

And they're claiming theirs is the "Best on the market". Helloooo.....anyone home?

If anyone feels so inspired to call & ask how they think they can make quality fuel that way, feel free...

I'm also getting tired of seeing this graphic on so many of these "FM Sibling" websites...

These guy's have no respect for copyright infringement I guess. I've hammered on a few of them for stealing images before (scares the crap out of them when they pick up the phone and I'm on the other end asking where they got such & such an image from).

Just because you choose to produce a fake FM does not mean you have to defend all of the other people who are trying to market the same old piss poor design as you have .

Are you kidding me? I am flabergasted you dont find the joke in that post. Lighten up.

I am not defending that company in any way. They actually have a 1500w heater in there processor and pvc pipe galore, and like graydon said Do they honestly think they are going to pump 500 gallons with that one pump?

You know, I've never understood the fascination with putting background music on a business website--especially a Biodiesel retailer website.

For the most part, you want people to get on your website and stick around for a while, browse, read through your material, hopefully buy something, but putting music like that guy had just drives them away...

I've seen it used poorly on several sites over the years, but this guy takes the cake.

Stupid song was stuck in my head half the day too. "On the road again, I just can't wait to get on the road again" (because my car ain't running anymore again, because I bought & used this guy's stupid processor again, yes I can't wait to get on the road again...) "Yes on the road again, like a biodiesel burnin' fool I want to drive again....but I'm stuck here again....on the side of the road again....yes on the road again...."

ok, so I suck at lyrics...

Well, it'll look like an eagle alright...a huge fireball w/ a fried eagle in it if they use that heating element.

"Oh look bubba! Our processor is working! It's glowing!"
"Uhm, I don't know bobby-boy, I think that thar's a fahr!"
"Uh oh, now wut do we do?"
"RUNNN!!!!!"

....later that day....

A call goes in to Eagle Biodiesel from Bubba.
"Uhm, hi, this here's Bubba. yeah, you done sold me one of dem Biodiesel processors a while ago."
"Yes?"
"Well, I done think thar's a problem...."
"Uhm, ok...."
"Uh, it done lit up a fire and well, now the tanks melted all over that darn there new floor me & junior built last week. So what ya done gonna do about it?"
"Well, that's what we call a really good reaction....you see, the fire....some Bull $hit answer....."

And bubba probably believes it too!

Ahhhhh....the gullability of the public.
PT Barnum would be proud....

I agree the music on the website tops the corny factor. I looked at the website for awhile and just am astonished on what they are trying to sell. I would be surprised if they have sold any of the bigger kits. 550 gallon processor with about 40 ft of pvc pipe with about as many fittings. One break and there goes the neighborhood. Wooow

Yeah. I about died when I saw that.

It seems to be the trend w/ these guys lately.

"Heck, if a 100 gal tank is good, then a 1,000 gal tank MUST be better! Let's make us some money!"

Guess none of them have a clue about thermo-dynamics and good mixing techniques, eh?

Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not being sarcastic when I say I want one.

I'm just not willing to pay that much for it.
Those would make a killer wash tank setup.

I look at that as both a large wash tank and smaller waste water/oil separator tank before final discharge to the lawn.

Complete with a sump pump for discharge.

Rip the little 10 inch filter off and put it on my garden hose connector.

To bad they are not a bit cheaper. I'd give them $200 - $300 for that setup.

Thanks Brent...

http://www.continentalbio.com

I got a kick out of Continentals little quote...

"Our Units can produce from 90 to 20,000 gallons of diesel fuel per day. (NOTE: Although it is OK to process waste vegetable oil, it is very difficult to achieve ASTM grade fuel. Even if you use virgin oils, making ASTM spec fuel is challenging and is only achieved through the efforts of a skilled operator. If you intend to use waste vegetable oil, you will need to run a titration test with each batch).”

Nice disclaimer, eh?

In other words, "Our systems probably make REALLY CRAPPY under converted fuel, but we'll still sell em to you...."

Damn! Check out all their disclaimers too..
http://www.continentalbio.com/mailin.pdf

These guy's don't even have the decency to pay for the insurance to ship the item to you. Once it leaves their factory, it's your responsibility...dude! That sucks! Especially if you've just dropped $65K on one of these suckers!

They also escape any liability whatsoever too in their liability clause.

So in otherwords, "We make crappy processors that can't convert oil worth a damn. Buy one! We won't guarantee it'll even ship to you and make it to you safely and if it does, we aren't going to guarantee that it'll even make Biodiesel. If it breaks, tuff crap! It ain't our responsibility! Screw up your shop or burn your shop down? Not our problem!

They do have a 60 day warranty on the thing, but I'd be scared to ever have to use it..."Uhm, I just bought one of your mules and it broke" "Well, it must be operator error, good bye!"

Ah....PT Barnum would once again be proud...I can hear the "there is a sucker born every minute" already.

Once again, I reaffirm my liking of the BioPro...

They guarantee the thing for a full year, will overnight parts to your door if something goes wrong and offer a 30 day money back guarantee.

Oh yeah, and they insure the thing to ship it to you. If it breaks on its way to you it's THEIR problem, not yours.

Nothin' like dealing with decent folks....

Anyway, back to our "circus"....

-Graydon
