If its made from plastic or steel I would try mixing your caustic of choice with water to clean it, or glycerin, or even methoxide although it would be the more toxic/dangerous route to go...

Heat may loosen it up, but be extremely careful because that heat source will melt a hole thru it in a heartbeat.
If worse comes to worse, I have them in 100, 200, 400 and 600 micron and the strainer socks in 200 micron also. Norman |

Household or "cloudy" ammonia may move it, as may the solvents acetone, ethanol, toluene and/or methanol. Ask me how I know.

Demethed glycerine by-product cut with 25% water. Place on a flat surface and pour glyc over the dirty areas and then use an old toothbrush in a circular motion. Rinse with warm water.
