After many mini batches and lots of reading I’ve built a 160L processor. Its 95% stainless. The plan is to do an 80/20 process. Remove the glycerin after the first reaction to the still While the second reaction is going remove the methanol from the first reaction glycerin. When the second reaction passes 27/3 reintroduce the now very thick and demethrd glycerin while running the processor backwards so as not to strain the pump with the thick glycerin. Do a 5% prewash. Remove glycerin and wash all in the same vessel. Transfer the product to the sealed vessel and push through purolite via compressed air. The still works well and the purolite column is seems to work well.
Uhm...somebody mixed in a picture of your moonshine still
Looks good and insulated.
Have you tried it out yet? Might be helpful to pull out a little sample to inspect between each of the processes. That way you can dial in each step to get just the results you want.
