I've had a couple PMs regarding how I salt wash my BioD, so I thought I would post pics of my "salt cell".

It is a about 2 feet long total. 2" pipe with 2" female thrd/slip fittings on each end, with thrd DWV plugs on each side. 2" T's with 3/4" thrd reducer bushing with 3/4" boiler valves screwed in top. You will also need a double female hose coupling or washer hose to connect running water to the salt cell.


Unscrew DWV plug and fill with salt pellets.


BTW... If you use the "Solar Salt" 99% pure the salt will dissolve very quickly. I like the the slower dissolve pellets.

Use it and never worry about emulsions again!
