Hello all....I'm in the market for a Static Mixer that's good quality; are there any out there in the 30 to 50 dollar range? I assume it should be placed in line right after the pump on an Appleseed processor. Is there one durable enough to be used during the entire reaction process, or only while Methoxide is being introduced? Thanks...........

It might help to specify the size you're looking for. I have a nice one that I built, but probably a bit much for your Appleseed.

Biodiesel Joe (Joe_M) has the best Static Mixer. He is building one for me.

Thanks for the input so far. I've got a typical 50 gallon Appleseed Processor with 3/4 inch pipe/tubing that yields around 30 gallons of finished BD. I'd like a Static Mixer I can simply place in line above my pump so the mixing is good and vigorious before it gets back to the tank. I've seen quite a few, including one Girlmark showed me last year. I spent quite a bit of time searching on line, yet found nothing definitive. I'm not an engineer type like so many of you on this site, so that's why I'm asking here. Thanks again for all your thoughts/inputs.

A while back Andrew Morris bought two of the ones from Fryerpower & stuck em on an appleseed & had good results.

I've never used mine so I'm not a good person to ask on them, but Andrew seemed to really enjoy his.

I know Joes are really well made as well though. He did an awesome job on them.

If I remember correctly the fryerpower ones are not sulfuric compatible?
