Does anyone have any suggestions on a self priming pump for pumping bio out of a 55 gal. drum and into my vehicle?

I've been using a harbor freight pump to pump the fuel thru a gang of three, whole house filters and its become a real pain having to prime the hoses first.

I'd like something that uses 115 volts. It needs to have some oomph to push thru the filters.

This works perfectly

Three filters is overkill, one 5µ is adequate on the output of the barrel pump.

Look into the Whale Gulper, I have a friend that pumps WVO and he likes the power it has.

I use one of these, with a goldenrod 5 micron filter on the output.
There are lots of used ones for sale out there.
It works great but the bio is eating the stock filler hose on it...

ShurFlo series 2088 pumps. These come in either 115V or 12V.

I have 3 115V ones and a 12V one. The 12V one is dedicated to the tractor fueling station, and sits on top of the drum. The pump is always full of B100 and winters that way as well. 3rd year running without so much as a hickcup from it.Works flawlessly.

We've run leads with alligator clips from the pump that attach to the tractor's battery for power and the braided hose has a ball valve on it to open and close flow.

Simple, reliable, self priming, can run dry and mobile. You can see a picture of it here: http://www.b100wh.com/b100family.html It is at the bottom under all the tractor pics.

Jon, I can't see your photo. I just see an x.

Legal Eagle, does your pump have enough pressure to pump thru a filter?

The ShurFlo 2088 series pumps have a 45PSI flow rate. The one I use on the demething tank also pushes the biodiesel through a CAT 2 micron canister type fuel filter. No problems.
