for what it's worth.....

thought i would share this. my new wash tanks have adjustable overflow tubes. this way if i make a "short" batch, my waterline can remain where i need it. there are shutoffs under the bench for fuel and water drainage. turns out that this sytem has been very versitile. i can adjust the levels of just about anything on the fly without having to mess with the contents of the tank itself.

the tanks also have a closable standtube for the fuel line to prevent "crud" in the fuel as it is transferred to the dry tank. when the fuel is washed, just open the fuel line and into the dry tank. no mess, no purging, no nothing.

the wash tanks, and dry tank are on the south wall of the processing shed (free solar heat)

the processor shed (old greenhouse) is a bit of a mess as i am still building equipment as well as processing at the same time.

hope you find this useful....
