IIRC, the Olds 5.7 diesel has a tranny bolt pattern known as BOC...buick, olds, cadillac...thus trannys from those three GM divisions are interchangeable.

Suppose I have a late 80s/ early 90s caddy with a transversely mounted gasser engine and I wanted to swap in the olds... i'm sure the motor will bolt right up, but it'll be tight in there. Is there a serpentine belt kit that'll bolt to the olds to shorten it's overall length?
