I've had a 93 Isuzu Amigo sitting in my drive for several years - it needs a lower-end kit. I have recently considered converting it, but electric kits are way too expensive (and the engine is no award winner as-is). Can I squeeze a diesel engine into it? Would I have tranny/drivetrain issues? Would it be cheaper/easier to start with a diesel auto? I've never had experience with diesel engines and am old-school with gas ones. Please help. Thanks, JT
