Help, tutu (grandmother) in dire need of knowledge on how to bleed the air from my fuel system. I have a 1983 Isuzu pu, 2.2/L4 engine. I need to change 2 o-rings. Do I bleed it from the fuel filter. Can someone please give me the details on how to do it? This is my first diesel vehicle. I love the mileage.

Aloha, tutu

To bleed the fuel system, open the drain valve on the fuel filter (should be at the top, where the rubber hose from the bottom of the unit connects back to the top). Press the primer pump repeatedly until diesel fuel comes out of the open drain valve - you may want to have a small jar handy to catch the spill. Close the valve and you should be set.
