i have a great desire to place a 4 cyl. deisel into my s-10 custom truck i know th isuzu is similar in some years does anyony know how or if it will bolt up to the existing drive train

In the early 80s, the S-10 was available with an Izusu 4 cylinder engine, hooked up to either auto or standard without problems. Seems like 1982

I've got an Isuzu Diesel engine, sitting here, that came from a Chevy "Luv". Still lots of those Luvs running around here. Guy I got it from, said, 80 to 90 year model trucks had them.
