I stopped by a new seafood place on Friday and asked about his oil. He said the renderer is payng him $5 a 55 gallon drum. 6 mos. ago they were paying to have it picked up. I called the renderer and he was really pleasant to talk to. He said he would deliver 55 gal. of street grease for $45. He said if we could find a home for 1,100 gallons, he had some high quality filtered he would deliver for $1 a gallon. Looks like the price/availability of WVO is quickly creeping up. I am inclined to get in good with this guy and gamble that he will take care of his higher volumn and established customers. I do not have a method in place to collect from 55 gallon drums and want to know if you think this is selliing out.
