I have just started a grease recycling program in Colorado. I was looking for a contract, bill, or service agreement to use as a template for this program. Something to give to clients as well as limiting liability for the program. please email me at daralor at hotmail dot com

I plant to eventually start a WVO removal service myself. Being a welder, I will be able to affordably build secure custom dumpsters and processing equipment.

It would be great to see what contracts/agreements people may have copies/templates of. Hopefully, they will be posted here for everyone to see as I'm sure that others will also be interested in reading them.

One note of caution. Every state has different laws concerning WVO collection. In the state of TX I am allowed to pick up oil for personal use only. Once I offer to purchase the oil or use it for something other than personal use the rules change and I have to go through the process of becoming a licensed renderer. In my case I would be careful not to use a contract that would put me in a position that looks like I am a business. Other state laws may bring other complications.

Yeah, I met with a guy yesterday who cleans grease traps and who knows the grease biz pretty well. Things get pretty tricky once you start dealing with quantities more than 200g a week it seems. I'm brainstorming on what to do here. I live in the most popular ski resort area in the country. They produce about 2000g a week during the winter and about half that in the summer. I want it all. I realize that the program has to create money to function. I'm crunching numbers as I get them. It's a a lot of work but I'm determined to figure it out. Anyone willing to lend a hand, this is the High Country, lot's of mountains, lot's of snow, and at the moment tons of sun too.

Yeah it's really hard to find industrial zoning to process the oil. It's harder to set up a recycling program than I thought.
