I have a lot of people interested in trying biodiesel, and a few of them want me to start a small scale plant, but there is not enough WVO around here for that. I phoned the local renderer, and he said 50,000 litre minimum with 50 cents per litre price! That is more than the cost of my time and chemical supplies! It would be cheaper to buy seed and make my own oil! You would be surprised at how many people want a piece of the bio-pie! He did offer to sell me bio at 90 cents litre, go figure!

I doubt that you could buy the seed and have it pressed for less than 80 cents per litre.
Even growing it yourself, then having your seed pressed and selling the seed meal as stockfeed would not be much cheaper.
