I have been increasing the concentration of bio in my 2006 Burnam furnace with a becket burner. Today when the furnace was running I wanted to inspect it under operation. When I looked into the view port, I noticed the ceramic tile in the back had a crack in it. Could the fuel be the cause of this? Also how hot does the outside case get on your boiler. The lower half of mine is hard to touch, is this normal, or is the crack affecting this. Can these ceramic pieces be replaced easily and should I do any modifications to the burner. Current concentration is reaching B90. The furnace fires and opperates perfect thus far.

I have the same burner and boiler and I use a heating element with the lower thermostat and preheat the biodiesel going into the burner and I am running it on 100% biodiesel

I also noticed that the pressure is set from the factory at 140psi. This should be high enough correct

Does the lower half of your furnace on the outside get hot, a little to hot to touch
