I also have used unwash, underreacted biodiesel in my burner without any problems, I think the key here is that the methanol in the biodiesel gives the added advantage when it comes to ignition. Tom

Maybe when it isn't so cold, I'll try a little of the soapier stuff, and see how it does. I shouldn't say this out loud either, but the furnace has been trouble free since switching nozles
