I usually post on the UK Biodiesel forum and have been trying - with improving success - to make some test batches of BD myself.

I have also been making a concerted attempt to use commercially produced biodiesel whenever posible at various blends from 5%-100%. In the UK I have found a couple of useful online resources such as biodieselfillingstations.co.uk and at the Energy Saving Trust travel planner that have helped me to locate filling stations that provide some kind of biodiesel product I can fill up with and which I consult before going on a journey in case I can reach such a station without a major detour. Driving at least 2-3 times a year on mainland Europe I am now looking to see if there is some way to extend my use of biodiesel in other countries around Europe also. To date, I have only been able to find biodiesel in Germany using the biodiesel.de website.

Are there any other such resources for biodiesel filling stations in other countries? If not, can individual forum members provide details of outlets in their replies to this post? It would be a great resource for the forum and all those like me who would like to make their travel, whether for business or leisure, less harmful to the environment in terms of carbon emmisions. In addition, with no fuel tax in Germany, I also enjoyed a significant cost saving when using biodiesel there and also helped support local independent filling stations that usually sell biodiesel and which often are a lifeline for small rural communities.
