I haven't had the heart to wade through the forums. I just wanted to ask about vac hoses.

We collect from our restraunts with a 2" trash pump into an IBC tote. We have that typical 2" green vac hose with a metal wire spiraling around the length of it. I think its actually PVC material , I am not sure. But it keeps cracking and leaking. Not right away just after months of use and abuse.

We heard about something called "Buna-n". Can't seem to find it. The specialty hose shop in Asheville recommends something but only sells 100' rolls cause its special order. Besides that its $15 a foot.

anyway, guide me. What the best hose material for WVO sucking and where?
