I went to the store today to get lye and methyl hydrate for my first Dr. Pepper trial. I had to go to three different hardware stores before they would sell me methyl hydrate! I guess cooking crystal meth is becoming an epidemic in Vancouver! I had to explain the process several times before I could get the stuff. I guess they are not supposed to sell mineral spirits or similar things that can make meth to younger guys!

Anyone else have similar problems?

I'm in what is known as the Meth Capital of the United States.

We have trouble getting lye as well.
