I had the opportunity to see this 300SDL in March of this year. It is very nice. The low mileage and nice paint speak volumes for this car. As I recall, Hip001 has all the service records, original window sticker, and a warning triangle.

I'm sure if you visit PeachParts Diesel Discussion, you will learn there is nothing wrong with a #14 head if proper maintenance is performed to the coolent system....and the head had never overheated. There is a very simple test to check for a blown head gasket or cracked head. Do you the know the procedure?

Still unless you are the oringal owner.A head would make a buyer feel better.You could add to the price.Just like me,I'm looking for a w140 diesel.But I know well to have a SDL engine ready to go in.
