I thought I had my wife talked into driving the 85 Pup and I was gonna drive the 81. She says she doesn't want to drive a 2WD with winter approaching.

So,
It's an 81 Diesel Isuzu P'up, 2WD Longbed with a 5 speed. It runs great and looks good. Shows 202K miles but the odo is stuck. No idea about actual.

Has:
New tires all around, New rear brakes, Decent canopy and overloads in rear, New front shocks, New alternator, Just changed the filters and oil.

Body is fairly straight and the interior is pretty good. Only 1 little (tiny really) crack in the dash. Glass is good except the windshield, which isn't bad.

If I was going to keep it I would change the timing belt and bypass hose right away. I would also check the injection timing. I think it's advanced a bit. White smoke at start, and heavy black smoke on acceleration. Seems "peppier" than the 85 which has less miles and is near perfect.

Needs: Alignment and a new washer motor.

It really does run good. Aside from not knowing when the timing belt was last changed, I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.

2001 F350 7.3 DI purchased new by me and i believe it is the first DI Ford experimented with and talked about on this forum. The single OEM fuel tank only.

Updated 1/2009 .
HOH for fuel line heat from tank to 12v lift pump. GPI/CIM-TEK spin on filterhead and 10 micron filter. Two 12v 36" heaters wrapped around metal fuel lines. One before add on filter and one before OEM filter.dttk44@bellsouth.net

Cool weather mixes starting spring 2009. 100% vo to 65*. 5% K1 to 55*. 10% K1 to 45*. 20% K1 to 35*. 30% K1 to 10*.
