There seems to be a lot of debate around what most people mean by 'CRUDE' - And though biodiesel was supposed to benefit the environment, much co-product is just disposed of...

So what is the most cost-effective / eco-frienly end-use?

How about a little poll for starters?

Question:
Your crude glycerol is ready for disposal, feed or sale, when:

Choices:
1) just as soon as you can get it away from your precious fuel :)
2) Just after you've *recovered* the residual methanol
3) just after you've *driven off* the residual methanol
4) After Acidulation and separation
5) After Meth recovery AND Acidulation
6) Never! I turn it ALL into soap ~(yeah right)~

No waste but what we make...
