There are two methods of removing the methanol from the glycerine layer; by distilation using a simple condenser and then reuse it in a follow up batch or by boiling it off (do it outside and stand upwind as the fumes are toxic)

OK, As we are very new at this, a little laid back in OZ....
We have started to produce bio from used cooking oil which we have alot of access to within our business, we produce 150 ltr batches using KOH. We use alot of degreaser within our business in liquid spray form to clean commercial rangehoods in kitchen's. I am very interested in using the glycerine by-product for this purpose and would appreciate advice / suggestions on how to go about this. I did subscribe to the Blackcrownsoap for info some 2 months ago and have yet heard nothing. Mike. |

Care to clarify that. I do not offer "subscriptions". I answered your question in the other thread you posted. ![]() **My reactor/processor :B100WH.com ** Video of my system **The Colaborative Biodiesel Tutorial **B100 Heated Winter System ** Biodiesel Glycerine Soap - Make & sell soap from Biodiesel Glycerine |

Check your public email account. Although I do not have your email listed as a buyer I've taken it on good faith that you did in fact buy it but for some reason did not receive it.
Now you have it. If you sent a cheque by snail mail it did not get here. ![]() **My reactor/processor :B100WH.com ** Video of my system **The Colaborative Biodiesel Tutorial **B100 Heated Winter System ** Biodiesel Glycerine Soap - Make & sell soap from Biodiesel Glycerine |
