I thought I understood everything until I made my first batch a few days ago and now I realize I have alot to learn! I've been trying to scan all the previous posts concerning my glycerin. What can I do with this fresh 6 gallons of glycerin in its raw form? Is is safe to dump on the landscaping or pour down the drain or use it as a parts cleaner or mix it with sawdust to burn? OR do I need to first let the methanol evaporate off or boil it off? Will I end up with more of a solid if the methanol goes away?
Still in the washing stage of the BD process but so far everything looks great! I'm happy!
