Does anybody know the ins and outs of upgrading glycerin?? I've noticed that the high grade stuff is worth a lot more than the 80% stuff. Is it worth upgrading it, and how would you go about it?
Run a search -- it's been heavily discussed around here, and there's even a thread about acid separation and fertilizer production going on right now. The bottom line is that you're not going to (economically) produce commodity-pure glycerin out of the biodiesel waste layer.
Already responded to your market feeler in Texas thread.
