Has anyone used a glycerinburners.com burner?

Lyle Rudensey (a.k.a. BioLyle) mentioned to me last week that he had a customer that was using one to burn his crude glycerin & loved it.

Just wondering if any one else on here has played with one and if so, how well it's worked.
Lyle said his friend had to tweak it a bit, but once he got it dialed in it's been working great.

Here's the link to them:

I'd love to hear what others have seen.

Let's start with the cost of the unit, that may trump everything else.

I just emailed them today as well.
I'll report back if I ever hear from them.
I'm really curious what the price is...

I don't see it there anymore, I remember somebody posting months ago about them, and it seems like the price was around 2K.

If you put part of the fuel path in a tube passing in front of the flame it would become self heating once you got it going. Old blowlamps and some stoves work that way.

Ant
-in this design, the preheat chamber hold a very small amount of byproduct or wmo the reason it is kept hot is for instant ignition, cold oil or byproduct is hard to light with sparking electrodes, once the flame is lit there is no further need for heated fuel.
