I'm in Oakland. Anyone have any suggestions on where I can get rid of my glycerol?

I am not sure how well they like this, but... I know a guy who dumps his at the oakland waste site near the bay bridge. Roll Eyes It is a designated drop spot for cooking oil. I think darling picks it up. If you ask where you can dispose of cooking oil, you will find the site. From what I hear, it is unattended at night.

Why waste it? It's a very useful cleaner... biodegradable, non toxic. Use as-is or dilute with water to the desired consistency. Excellent hand cleaner or bathroom cleaner.

He tells me that there is a oil collection tank, around 100 gallons. Since it is the render's, he says he does not mind putting it there.

Don't get me wrong. I am not telling you to do this. Just what a guy I know does.

I have never used the site, and have since moved, so that is all I can tell you.
