Am looking for a use/market for that crude raw glycerin that accumulates as a by-product of biodiesel. I have caught a "whiff" of a possibility that asphalt paving industry uses the glycerin by-product. Anyone out there know anything specific on this? What would a local paving contractor use it for? I am so interested in developing this possibility, especially on a local contractor level as I need some extra capital to fund the continuation of the bio experiment! feel free to answer me direct: renemiller@softhome.net

One asphalt guy told me he will pour vegetable oil on fresh laid asphalt to improve it. Not sure what he meant by "improving it".
