I am starting to make bio diesel and looking for suppliers for Methanol and for Koh (Potassium Hydroxide) in Miami, Fl. Who are the best sources and best prices?? Any and all help welcome.

Where in Miami are you located? I'm in Miami Gardens, maybe we can help each other.
To start, you can get NaOH at Lowe's, under the name "Roebic crystal drain cleaner", in 2 Lbs plastic jars. It's not cheap (a little less than $8), but it's a good option to start small.
About KOH, I don't know.
As per methanol, I still couldn't find it, but I suspect that Murray's (441, a couple of blocks south of the Golden glades) should have it, or at least should have some information. Otherwise, another option would be to go to the Homestead racetrack and start asking around.

Another one from Miami (Westchester) here looking to split cost of shipment on KOH to start in small batch at a time. Let me know...

I'm interested. Just tell me when and where. I don't think I'm going to be producing at any large scale anytime soon (I still need to get a car, among other things, and life moves slowly on my side of the fence...), but I sure would like to pick your brain if you don't mind...

If the time is right count with me also, for now I just want to make BIO as a hobby for my Chinese Diesel Generator that I just built. Also I want to buy in couples of months the centrifuge from Dieselcraft to polish Used Motor Oil and veggie oil to use straight in the GenSet.
