I'm using the GL Push/Pull processor and find that the soap is not settling out very well. I guess I'm going to have to wash the biodiesel to get it out.
I ordered a cone bottom tank that is not fully draining.
Is there something I can do to make it fully draining? Can I use JB Weld or something to fill in the gap at the bottom?
I don't want glycerin or water to contaminate my fuel.

You could put a standpipe in the bottom of it. Have a look here.

Get some epoxy resin from someplace like West marine. Also get some of the fiber powder to mix into the resin batch. Stir the resin, catalyst, fiber into a small container like a soup can. Pour it into the gap around the fitting in the bottom of the cone. It will self level and voila. If you try it without the fiber or use another resin you will have trouble. I did mine and it works great. No more trapped glycerin!

Thanks Helpuguy:

I'll do that. I think I can get a big syringe and put a bent tube on the end and inject the epoxy in from the bottom of the tank. I don't think I can reach from the top.Or better yet,I can put a long tube on it and do it from the top.

This is a good idea and we'll incorporate it when we upsize to a 250 gal poly cone reactor. Right now when we are draining off the glycerin or water- we splash a little water in and let it settle for a moment and then drain that off. We do lose a little biodiesel but not much.

What I actually ended up doing is filling the space with JB Weld. It works well. Newpig.com has good prices on JB Weld.
