After draining the glycerin from my first batch of bio i ran the heater and the air bubler for 3 hours to try and get ride of excess methanol. I then dry washed the fuel to a very clear amber color. The smell from the top of the processor still smells of methanol. I then have left the bubbler going for another 4 hours and no reduction in smell? Is this methanol i'm smelling? How do i get rid of it? When is it suitable for use as fuel? passed the 27/3 test twice.
