I have a question before I try making some BD of my own. Which is better to use when making it, methanol or ethanol? What difference does it make with the final product?

The major difference in the final product is that ethanol often does not work, but if it does work, the biodiesel usually has a lower freeze temp.

As ethanol costs 3 or 4 times the cost of methanol guess which one i use. It's also much easier to buy than ethanol.
