I have a supply of oil that is possibly a mix of wvo, kerosene, and diesel, probably someone trying to make DSE stuff. There was a post about this awhile back but now I have some updates.

I am trying to determine if I can make biodiesel out of this stuff. I filtered and heated the oil mixture and tried to make a batch in a Biopro 190. We have made many successful batches in the biopro so we know it works. However, when making a batch from this oil mixture, there is no clear glycerine separation and after the process (prior to the wash cycle), the oil looks exactly the same as before adding chemicals. Any ideas?

The oil mixture titrates at about 4.2mL NaOH or around 7.5 g NaOH/L using the Journey to Forever method.

The pH of the oil is 5.95

The oil has a dark red tint to it and smells somewhat like diesel, so I am thinking maybe wvo with dyed diesel in it?

I attached a picture of the oil, the red tint doesn't show up in the lighting.
