Just a feeler posting:
I am in the bio-diesel business (small scale), but have been venturing into raw material sales such as methanol and KOH. I am in the process of purchasing 6500 gallons of reclaimed methanol (92 - 98%). The only con is it has an acrylate odor .3% and not suitable for garages unless proper venting is in place. The pros are it works fine, same hazards of pure methanol, has a slightly lower pH than pure methanol and less than .03% water. I have been using it for 6 months now. I am in RTP, NC and would like to hear who would be interested in purchasing some at ~2.65/gallon. This is only a feeler to see what kind of market I would have. Although, this could happen within a month or so. The fine print is: only two drums per truck unless you have HAZMAT license, supply your own metal containers, and join a co-op to cover my rear at a low annual membership. Bring it on, John |

In another thread you claimed to have "just found" the biodieselbarn website, but 240Volvo pointed out that YOU OWN the site and therefore COULD NOT have "just found" it. It looks bad to come out lying to people, rather than just making up some excuse for pointing out your site to people here. For example, Graydon and Rick like to issue sales notices and announce new products, rather than trying to pretend they "just found" their own site. It sits better that way. You are posting that in order to "keep the peace". The problem is that ignoring lies is a false peace. Ambucom OWNS biodieselbarn and pretended to have "just found" his own site. People already have general distrust of salesment, and it's not for no reason. I wish Ambucom all the best, but would hope for cleaner communications from him in the future. |
