KOH has gone through the roof. Overseas is sucking up all the US supplies. My supplier is on "85% of last years stock" rations. And they are not taking any new Customers.
55 gal drum Methanol 226 bucks local delivery and barrel fee included (4.10 per gal)
I will deliver with in the Metro....
All + sales tax.
Seems very regional, some report Methanol still up around 4.15 per gallon.
You gotta really look for a good supplier, not only pricing but availability.
The only thing mine does not stock that I may need is 100 kegs of KOH. I like the 50# bags much better as it seems not to be near as dusty.

I just bought a 55 gallon drum for $3.55 a gallon. The guy I get it from told me it's on it's way down in about a month. KOH cost me $65 for a 50 pound bag. I live in Nashville, TN

Man Utah is getting screwed, we pay over 5.00 a gallon here 280$ for a drum retail.

Methanol: 4.67 gal in 55 gal quantities from Tarr. $10 drum charge.

KOH (90%): .97/lb

$5.27 CAN/Gal (55 gal price) + deposit

i can get 55 gal. drums for $200.00 in so. fla. but need at least 4 orders and you supply the drum

174.50 for a 55 gallon drum, in middle TN.

I get my Methanol/KOH out of Toronto area - free delivery if ordering $750 or more.

Methanol is $1.05/KG if I order 6 barrels at a time. otherwise it's $1.46/KG. With taxes included I pay $190~/barrel by getting 6 at a time. Otherwise it's almost $270/barrel

KOH is $2.86/KG in 25KG bags (50 LBS) regardless of quantity.

I just bought 2 55 gal. drums of meth. $193. each. from Windward Manchester NH. 10 day's ago I was qouted $380 !! Glad I kept holding off!

$4.25/gal for CH3OH, $2.19/lb for NaOH.

I'm glad you folks can find suppliers, I'm in Longview Texas and finding supplier for methanol is like finding a niddle in a hay stack. Only place close to me is about 1.5 hours away. Cost is 188 a drum and I supply the drum.

I picked up a 50 pound bag of 90% pure KOH yesterday for $43. The place i was getting it was 80 bucks for the same deal.

Just called my methanol guy and he has one barrel left from last year's prices ($140 for 55gal), so I'm pretty stoked! But he says the next barrel will surely be more, and I told him I figured it would.
