hello all
First i would like to thank you guys for helping me, I made a litre of perfect (looking anyway) biodiesel!
anyways on to my help needed question
I am going to be trying to give a demonstration/tutorial of the DR pepper method at a home school gathering in ND here what i need help with is the chemistry side of the process essentially a description in chemical formula of what happens in the reaction
my idea being that i could present the chemistry behind the reaction and then actually perform the reaction as a side note theoretically if you knew the chemistry you would be able to "walk backwards" to understand what if anything went wrong,
permitting it is all right with the pat pend applicant i would use the dr pepper process throughout the demo
anyways any thoughts or ideas concerning aspects of the process that would be benificial to talk over/understand would be greatly appreciated, seeing as i am just started into this myself

on another thread i found a link to an article from Iowa State university that was very helpful. i would very much reccomend reading it!
they have a good layout for helping you know a little basic chem to deepen your understanding of the process
i will post what i come up with for the demo and then i would appreciate you critisizm on it to help me polish it up
