Do I need to Winterize my biodiesel?

Hello,

I am producing biodiesel from waste cooking oil (palm olein based). The cloud point of my biodiesel is 14 C and the cold filter plugging point is 12 C. I want to use this biodiesel in Hong Kong where the temperature can drop to 14 C, do I need to modify the cold weather properties of my biodiesel? Can you suggest a way of doing it?

Best Regards,

Izzy

If it only dips to 14 C for short periods of time you'll probably be OK without winterizing.
