So I see this apparently new Emergency Fuel Treatment from Amsoil, which they claim "[p]erforms well in all diesel fuels, including ULSD, off-road and biodiesel" and "[o]ne 30oz. bottle of Diesel Recovery treats 30 gallons of fuel."
I'm curious if anyone has used it, in biodiesel or otherwise. I'm curious if it provides the same or more cloud point temperature reduction as $11.25 worth of winterized diesel would get me in 30gal of biodiesel (the price for 30oz). At current D1 prices around me ($2.799), that's only about 4gal.: about a 6F degree cloud point drop. |

I have used it in a drum and it did de-gell. That should only be used for Emergency as stated. Its mainly for being stranded. Remove gelled filter, dump old fuel and fill with the Emergency stuff then replace filter, pour the rest in your tank and start the vehicle. They do sell other anti gell stuff safe for everyday year round use.
