I was wondering if it would be ok to use a water seperator as the drying process rather than wasting the energy to heat the oil for hours? Let me know if this will work! thanks!

Has any one used Dririte to remove water. I seem to have 50 lbs and plan to try it. I am going to use a large fish filter filled with the product and using weight to find out how much water I have removed. I will use Mark's way of measuring the water after boiling to see if the results are the same. Any ideas????

I'm waiting to hear back from the chemist at Drierite now. (www.drierite.com) As soon as she contacts me I'll post pertinent info.

I talked to the chemist at Drierite and she said not to use the color changing one, as she didn't know what the dye affect would have on the bio. So I bought the white, and will have to by the weight. Right now I am working on my solar heater to reach 400 degrees to regenerate it.

It takes that thing a long time to get hot.
