Going to go look at at 1997 Mercedes E300 with 102K miles asking $8K. Is this a good choice for B100....anything I should be looking for.

Check the fan speed on heater.

I purchased a 1998 E300D with low dash air flow.
Easy fix for a $125.00 veriable resistor on blower motor update found on eBay.

I have been running B50 this Jan , Feb cold winter weather in West Virginia.

The 10 year old Mercedes are really nice cars.

Might sell 1987 190D asking $3500.00

I had a 1999 E300. The big difference to yours is the turbo, but I know the 606 engine quite well. If you have any problems let me know. They are great engines, but can be very maintenance needy. I ran commercial B100in mine for several months with no issue. It was great.

Glowplug removal on these can be very difficult . Research the Merecedesshop forums - www.peachparts.com
