Your web-site said that anyone interested in growing this plant should contact you.
I have been planing to move to Mexico when I retire (in the next 6 months or less) I will be going down this next week to perches a small home for My family. As soon as My Mother in law sets up the paper work. I am also looking at 220,000 Acers of land that is for sale and in my price range. There is no well on the property and getting a permit to drill a well in Mexico is very difficult. However , I believe the average rain fall is well within the range of this plant. (Jatropha Curcas). And I am very interested in planting this on my land. Could you help me in learning more about this plant. legality of growing in Mexico Perches of seeds or plants, and it's cultivation, marketing etc. etc. . Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Raymond Head PS. I am a white USA citizen. BUT, My wife is a native Mexican and I speak the language very well. And I have already established a very good & solid reputation with the locals in the area. |

I am interested in establishing contact with you to discus possible long term relationship with you growing JATROPHA CURCAS for our plant usage. We need to know where you will be located, as not all areas are frost free and suitable for quality growing results. A sight plan for tillable acherage areas, would also be helpful. rrxlee@aol.com

Hello to all parties. I have been researching on the Jatropha plants and a feed stock for bio-fuel since April and currently have partnership agreement with transferring plantation technology as well as providing young plants ready for planting outdoor in high volume. The plantation technology & knowhow will be managed by our partners from Malaysia (world leader in plantation deployment to management as the world largest producer of palm oil and a former world largest exporter of natural rubber) & India (where the most research and agreesive deployment of the Jatropha Crucas) I have all he estimated breakdown of the costs layout from Land clearing to planting and later setting up the facilities for process the seed into crude oil as biofeed for diesel. We also have the nurseries in China that will be able to do supply hundred of thousands of young plants within a short period of time from culture as well as from high-yield seeding. Currently, we are already working w/ the Cambodian Government to deploy a 15000-25000 hectere plantation over 5 years.
Pls let me know if you are interested in partnering on this project. I have also done some research w/ the Mexico Govt. The Mexico Govt has recently pass a national mandate on developing renewable fuel but thy seemed to be focus more on Ethanol from corn which is in direct conflict with the existing food chain with rising corn price. With the new mandate, you may be able to get some concession w/ the govt and I think we might even be able to funding for implementing this project. I have been trying to contact the Mexico Department of Agriculture as well as the Mexico DOE to reseach on grant money or funding as in the US. There might be some tax incentive tie in. Pls contact me if you are interested. I will be travelling to Asia in November and will be meeting w/ some landowners in Baja/Cabos in december. Let me know if you are interested. I will be moving to Sourthern California next week in order to work on this project. Thank you. |

I feel that I am very late in the game. I am a real estate investor seeking properties for growing getropha ( Jatropha for sale and export ). I am also interested in government grants and other funding. Any where in the world is okay with me, but I prefer the USA if it is viable here. Thank you for any input in these matters.

Hello to all,
My father and I, along with a few other people have planned big growing projects for planting Jatropha Curcas seeds within Mexico. Currently we are obtaining various seeds globally.. We are yet to find a more local supplier of the seed this side of the world (U.S. & Mex). If anyone knows, or would like to get involved please let me know on this matter. We have a registered company and everything is in order.. |

My friend and I are producing Jatropha in TX and FL right now. Our operations are starting up now, but will be in full operation in 6-12 months. We will have seeding available in 1-2 months and seeds in about 12 months. At that point we will have a consistent supply of both seedlings and seeds. Let me know if you are interested. espmr2mike@aol.com

I am currently exploring the opportunity of growing Jatropha on my Ranch in Northern Sonora. The ranch is 1000 hectares and is located 25 miles southeast of Puerto Penesco. The ranch is a legal corporation in Mexico and I have the water rights. The well produces 900gpm and has been tested by a US lab to confirm the water quality is excellent and high in mineral content.
The Ranch was a production farm for alfalfa, corn, wheat and watermelon. There is 3 50acres fields with cement aquafers that support the irregation. The balance of the land is natural desert which is reletively flat and could be developed reletively easy. I have good relationships with a quality workforce in Puerto Penesco. I am currently trying to put this together myself but would be interested in a partnering relationship to accomplish this project. Key benefits to the location: - close proximity to the US border for export - good local workforce - excellent water supply - good quality soil I look forward to starting a dialog with you regarding this. At this point the ranch is dormant but I am current with the taxes on the land and water. thanks, Frank |

It is located conveniently by the port of Acaba, Jordan. We are interested in buying around 40,000 tons of Jatropha-based oil per year. Is anyone supplying this yet? We would like some offers, from anywhere in the world. Please direct your offers (or information) to: Mr. Muafaq Abuhawileh at muafaqahmad@yahoo.com. Thank you for your interest!
