My understanding is that there is one commercial outlet for biodiesel in Long Beach.

THey're called:

Supreme Oil Co. -- 1777 W. Wardlow Rd, Long Beach, CA 90810; (310)549-3161; public/limited times; Call ahead for arrangements.

I'm still hoping to meet others in SoCal who want to do the biodiesel thing and get a co-op going or something

to get involved in this some how. How can we create a co-op? Do we have enough interest to make it work?
I think a group that can get bio diesel from restaurants (socal has a few thousand!) and then refine it and then resell it may be self sustaining. Any thoughts?

Ken, thanks very much! Just in time for me to fuel up, I hope, to drive my "new" old MB back to the north!

If you get fuel from Supreme, get some extra for the trip, as their price is best. You can get B100 in Ventura but it costs more. I get mine from GP Resources, but they like selling by the drum, last time 1.93 + sales tax. The Ventura Harbor Marine Fuel is a little higher and not equipped for vehicle sales, although you can fill jugs.

Have a good trip north. I'll be headed for Palm Springs in mine for an energy conference returning on the 5th. If you are coming by way of Ventura get in touch. Work # 805 658-5745

Hey, I'm south of you by San Diego in Pacific Beach however, it's your lucky day! I have recently become a distributor for two biodiesel products on the market now. One is B99.99 concentrate for High Performance Diesel Fuel and the second is a B99.99 gallon of the proprietary concentrate and B99.99 for a one to 50 gallon ratio to add lubricity to the ULSD#2 and #2 which they lack. This dryness of the #2 diesel messes up the injectors so B99.99 PLUS is necessary in each and every tankful. Of course it is also beneficial as a gallon of fuel to have since it's biodegradble and nontoxic. I can send you a picture attachment or a bottled sample of the gallon fuel. Please let me know if you want to know more to carwebco@live.com
