I am starting the process of home-brewing bio-diesel from animal fats and need some good low cost suppliers for methanol near Olympia WA. I also need a good low cost source for sulfuric Acid. Does anyone out there have any good sources? I contacted Associated Petroleum but they were @ $5.89/gal for a 55 gal drum which sounded high to me.

About the only place I can think of who is going to have methanol in the quantities you want is Tarr LLC in Auburn.

I regularly buy my chemicals from them.
