I am having some tallow showing up after 24 hrs settling time on my bio. I read a thread on this forum about a way to stop the tallow from forming when cooled by adding more lye at the base of 6.5gms/L and increasing the methanol. The max was 6.5 to 25% methanol.
I already do the settling and filtering to remove it but if I could do the base increase it would be nice. The thread also stated that the bio will be thinner also and more like diesel but that the freeze point will increase some.
Any info would be helpfull as I can not get the guy that did the post to reply to my messaging.
