I have went to the acid method to try and process some bio diesel that is hard to turn into bio diesel with the standard method. I used alex method of the 2 stage acid. It did not work. In a 50 gallon batch I only got a little more than a cup of glycerine??? I had usually been getting about 50% glycerine. I then processed it the original way and now I don't get any glycerine this way either. The process is still oil it did not make bio... Any ideas. Did the acid kill all further reactions?
