i an going to try the acid deal u guys have shown here. i was concerned about reactions with metals in pump.
so, i thought i might mix with a gas and bubbler.
now, i am concerned how a gas might react with mixture. it has been shown that CO2 will fgorm carbonic acids and nuetralize the lye (help with water wash??) but i have othergasses available. i was going to try nitrogen, then got worried about nitric acid and the boom that follows.
is this a legit concern???
i can mix with argon, helium, oxygen, acetelene, nitrogen, or air.
it doesnt take much but is it enough to make a difference? what about the water wash and gasses?

Methoxide and Sulphuric Acid ---- BOOOOM
Nitric Acid ----- Booom with lots of things
Oxy-gin, Nitro-gin, Hydro-gin and plain old Pink-gin(ethanol)----- Boooom.

what i wanted to know is can i use an inert gas like helium or nitrogen in my bubble wash, or even in the mixing of oil be it with acid (1st stage) or the methoxide.??
